BEING A GOOD FRIEND is an anxiety prevention and resiliency building program for kindergarten to Year 2 students. It is experiential and play based in combination with fun workbook activities. Students learn important social and emotional skills in a safe, caring and respectful environment. Topics covered include:
- Calm eyes.
- Brave voice.
- Recognising feelings in ourselves and others.
- Helping others.
- Body awareness, breath strength and being calm.
- Being a good friend.
- Being brave.
- The difference between 'Red' (unhelpful) and 'Green' (helpful) thoughts.
