Students at the school get involved in horse riding for sport and as an after-school activity. It is a program that develops beginners to competent riders and extends competant riders.

Students also engage in riding events with other schools at certain times of the year eg. at Grafton and Coonabarabran, when arrangements are suitable.

The program has a dedicated stock supervisor and riding teacher.
